Wiltshire Family & Newborn Photography
As well as weddings I also do a lot of family photography and newborn photography. I became a mother myself 2 years ago so it was a natural move for me to start photographing babies and families. I absolutely adore these sessions and although each one is different, I always aim to capture genuine moments and emotions rather than pose everyone for the camera.
Children don’t always play ball, they don’t all love being in front of a camera and I can’t say I blame them. This is why my sessions are more about having fun with each other, playing, running through the long grass, twirling, tickling and interacting with one another as a family. Through working this way I always capture real emotive moments between mums, dads and the little people who run around at their feet.
I love being out on location, especially if the weather allows it and I shoot all my outdoor sessions 2 hours before sunset, which in high summer can be anywhere from 6:30pm-9pm so please bear this in mind if you are booking a family shoot or motherhood shoot with me.
I have a style guide I send out to all my clients a few weeks beforehand as it’s important everyone’s outfits coordinate and photograph well together. I also have a small selection of women’s dresses and children’s outfits I’ve used in previous shoots that are available for clients to try if they wish.

Last year I was so lucky to be able to use this location for two beautiful sunset shoots and they are 100% my best work to date. I'm not usually one to blow my own trumpet as there's always going to be room for improvement but as soon as these images hit my screen I...
